DAF 1st Anniversary Giveaway!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been one year since Daily Art Fixx began. What started out as a personal project for my own education and inspiration, has grown in many directions and far beyond my expectations.  Over the next few months, you may notice a few changes to the site including a new monthly header image, a reference section, and a new comic strip.

Today, I have launched a new artist-driven header concept. Artists are welcome to submit their artwork to be featured in the monthly header. (See submission guidelines for more details)  This month’s header artwork is by UK artist Rob Reynolds.

1st Anniversary Contest:

To celebrate and to show appreciation to my readers, I am giving away a few Prizes:

1st Prize: Amazon Gift Card – $50 gift card from Amazon.com or Amazon.(your country). The card will be mailed or emailed to winner.

2nd Prize: Derwent Graphic Pencil Set - This 24-piece pencil set covers the complete range of twenty blackness and hardness degrees used in sketching, drawing and graphics. The pencils range from a very soft 9B to a very crisp 9H, with extra pencils provided for the most popular ones in the range.

To enter the contest, fill out the form below and tell me your favourite post over the past year and when you first discovered Daily Art Fixx. The contest will run for one week. (Note: to be eligible to win, you must answer both questions)

Winners will be randomly selected on April 14, 2010 and will be notified by email. Winners will be announced on the website on April 15th, 2010.
