Today’s image is by the street artist known as Cake. Though fairly new to the street art scene, her work is already widely known. She studied painting at the Pratt institute and began taking her art to the street about two years ago. Cake was recently one of three artists, invited by Art in General organization to provide murals for their fund raising gala. She is also participating in Brooklynite Gallery’s upcoming group show, Go Get Your Shinebox, as well as in Anno Domini’s annual invitational group exhibit and art sale, Fresh Produce.
