Saturday’s image is by Los Angeles based painter/illustrator Yoko Tanaka. Tanaka has a BA in Law from Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan and a BFA in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.  Her work has been exhibited across the United States and in Europe and she has won numerous awards for her illustrations in children’s books.
