Theo Jansen: Kinetic Sculpture

From TED Talks – a great presentation from Dutch kinetic artist Theo Jansen who demonstrates the amazingly lifelike kinetic sculptures he builds from plastic tubes and lemonade bottles. His creatures are designed to move — and even survive — on their own.

Thanks Wendy. This video is a riot. I’m sure there’s a line between fact/fiction, but since I can’t discern it I’ll just enjoy!
    A pleasure as always
